ROMANCE

1. Firsts. First kiss? First date? First time? First SOMETHING. How is it? Awkward? Romantic? Does it just plain suck? Or do you want to go back for another, smashing a mug to the ground in the process?

2. OH NO the heat's gone out! Also it's snowing. What do you do? Call the landlord? Fix it yourself? Or wait and see if it kicks back on? Either way, better bundle up.

3. An Addition! Suddenly, there's a new addition to your family! Are you expecting? Adopting? Struggling to find the perfect name for your child? Or maybe you're up at a ridiculous hour in the morning because they're crying like crazy. ... Or you just got a puppy/varren/parrot/whatever.

4. You wake up in the middle of the night, because your Significant Other is hogging the blankets. How do you resolve this annoying situation? Or are you the one hogging the blankets?

5. Oh No! You're having an argument! But it's an argument about the most trivial thing ever. Did he forget to put the seat down? Did she eat the last of the ice cream? Are you tired of them saying a certain word? Trivial argument time is now!

6. Spending Time Together. In a non-sexual way. What do you two do on a date? Do you just hang out on the couch? Are you going out for dinner? Sparring? What is it you do when you're together and not rocking the house down?

7. Spooning. Oh you knew it was coming. For some reason or other, you're in a cuddly mood. Grab your partner and get close to make the important decision. Who's the big spoon?

8. Anniversaries! Of what? First kiss? First date? That time you totally killed that guy? Whatever you like! ... But. Did your partner remember it? Did you? Or are you both just celebrating like bunnies?

9. Departure. Your significant other is leaving. Maybe it's for a long time, like forever, or maybe it's just for a few days. Either way, they're going to be out of contact for a while. Better go and make the most of the time you've got before they're gone.

10. Reunion. And then your significant other came back. Were they gone longer than expected? Did you think they were never coming back? BUT HERE THEY ARE. Alive and well! Or... alive and mostly well. Whatever, they're back and you're together again.

BROMANCE / PLATONIC FLUFF

1. HUGS. Dude even bros need a hug. Maybe a manly back-smack fist-bump testosterone show of affection or maybe fuck social conventions, your bro needs a hug and you're going to crush their ribcage. Go give your friend a hug right now.

2. Hanging out. Grab some pizza, catch a movie? Concert? Whatever you want to do, you're just going to spend some time together. Maybe talk? Drink? Make something up, but whatever it is, you have to do it together.

3. Help me out, man. One of you is in a bad situation. The other one has to go help you out. Maybe it's something as trivial as you have your hand stuck in a jar, or maybe it's as serious as a kidnapping. Point is, you gotta go bail your bro out.

4. ADVENTURE! Road trip? Disneyland? Grab your bro and go for it. The nature of your adventure is up to you. But you're in this together, whatever you choose.

[When you grow up in the cool-in-the-summer-and-a-tundra-in-the-winter climate of Hokkaido, the "cold" of anywhere else in the country doesn't get to you that badly. While everyone else during the day was bundled up in thick coats and scarves and looking more like the snowmen they were making than humans, Fubuki's jacket had been thinner and he didn't need to move around or drink hot beverages as much as the rest. It's not that bad.

But that's when he's awake. And moving. And the sun is out. It's still hella freaking cold at night, and the heater in the room they were staying at isn't working (maybe that was a part of the risk of not being able to afford more than a little travelers' inn for the trip, but two orphans aren't really made of money). Not wanting to keep a stove fan on all night they'd opted for staying close to keep as warm as they can during the night under all the blankets they could possibly huddle under... but there was a problem.

Fubuki takes a breath through chattering teeth and slides his gaze over to the boy sleeping next to him, buried somewhere under all of the blankets that had been stolen off of him during the night. He can't just pull them off of Hiroto; the other boy had something of a death grip and they were wrapped around him like a sushi roll. He didn't really want to wake him up in the middle of the night so he'd tried to bear with it, but apparently there's a slight draft and the snow is starting to fall outside and -- basically he's left with no choice. He hates having to uncurl from the ball he was sitting in but he reaches out a hand, guesses where Hiroto's shoulder must be, and starts to shake him gently.]

[The days that followed Teikoku's brutal defeat haunted Kidou. He hadn't been able to do anything about it; one by one, his friends were brutally mauled by a force so overwhelming that... well... you could say it was truly godlike.

It wasn't that they'd lost so soundly, though that was part of it. But the fact that Kidou hadn't been able to fight at all... that's what shattered his self-esteem and confidence into a thousand pieces. They were hospitalized. He, their captain, was fine. It should be him half-dead on a hospital bed. He hadn't suffered with them - no. He'd been forced to abandon them when they most needed him.

And he was no longer even worthy of the title of captain.

It's the worst kind of despairing anger that drove him now... and that would have been the end of it had it not been for an alternative option provided by Raimon.

For the first time in a long while, Kidou felt a sort of freedom to his options. He didn't have to fight every step of the way. Failure was no longer impossible. It barely mattered at all where he was, or what he did - he had only one personal goal left in life now, and one chance to achieve it. Everything else he'd ever wanted was already gone.

All he has left now is vengeance. For the life he could have had. For his team lying in the hospital while Kidou's unharmed. For his chance to live with his sister again.

And to get that, he's going to have to take one more loss.

He doesn't knock on the door to Sakuma's hospital room. After being told by the nurses that he was awake, Kidou simply located the correct number, and paused only briefly in front of the door before quietly opening it and striding in.]

[Gurerurin is met with a terrifying dilemma. Komasan, after somehow proving himself to be a worthy snugglebuddy, has now shown his true colours of white and bright blue.

And also his true intentions.

He has taken all of the blankets.

This normally wouldn't be a problem for the delinquent lizard--he's taken on tougher youkai than this and certainly won those same fights. But Komasan wasn't playing fair, all snuggled up in those blankets...

He was just too cute.

How does he get back his rightful spot under those blankets? Well that's a quest that he'll just have to traverse. With wide, nervous eyes, he reaches a hand over to try and pluck up one of the blankets in that cocoon to slowly unravel. You'd think he was picking up a gross bug with how distant he tries to make this action...but in actuality he just doesn't want to wake up the sleeping komainu.]

[It's strange he'd miss Cybertron. Even stranger that he'd consider missing a rinky dink planet like Earth. On one planet he had been imprisoned for a minor infraction and another he had merely crashed by some mistake.

Yet somehow he made solid close friends on that planet, perhaps even more. He never expected to be considered a good guy, trustworthy, capable of esteem in someone's eyes. He didn't want to disappoint the trust placed in him...maybe that's what made him too headstrong, too willing to rush off into fights.

So it could have been his fault for falling into the Decepticon's hands. Who knew some older Decepticons were active out here? The ragtag bunch on Earth was one thing, but Grimlock found just how bad seasoned fighters like the Decepticons could be. Or how dark or frightening waiting could be. Even as he was restrained and questioned and put in the dark over and over, there was the threat of violence. And there was the fear if his friends would find him.

His spark fluttered with hope when he heard that ruckus of a classic Autobot save. No doubt he didn't break from those chains the minute he came into the light. He ran right past the other crew members to the one bot he held out for.]

He was dragged invited to come, and given he's trying the whole 'be more social with the crew' thing still, here he was. Some how, he also wound up seated next to Brainstorm by the time it started.

It's another one of those weird Earth movies that Swerve seems to have an endless supply of. This time with a bunch of human scientists deciding it was a good idea to bring dinobotssaurs to life.

Which winds up going about as well as one might expect. But hey, at least plenty of humans are dying.]
