[It was only with that blessing that Kyousuke nods, parting from his brother only moments after having just reunited with him in order to say his goodbyes. Some would be more permanent than others--a thought he has as he makes his way over, only calmed by Tetsukado already planning out an Earth Eleven fishing trip.
That's right--this wouldn't be the last time they saw each other...their memories were shared, their souls connected as one, and there's something about saving the galaxy together that makes those bonds inseparable.
His bond with Yuuichi was no different.
So it's with cool contentment that he walks over, Ibuki's arm flung around him the minute he's within proximity and puled into the group embrace once more. Now Kyousuke had something he'd always wanted (and in hindsight, always had)--his brother's love, and now the love of his friends.
It wasn't something he'd lose, either. It was untouchable, immortal, everlasting.
[And Yuuichi watches, his heart at ease now. Tenma runs off with Kyousuke, and Shindou follows after making sure Yuuichi was seated safely back on the bench. Three kids who had started off so at odds, but now he couldn't think of anything more natural than their being together. Surrounded, now, by a plethora of friends and teammates they'll never lose that bond with.
He smiles, slipping his phone out of his pocket to make that call he promised. He'd better remind Mom not to drive so quickly in her excitement. She'd remind Dad to come home early, too, and blabber on about going out to eat in celebration. But he thinks it'll be best if they could cook together and keep things to the family tonight. Kyousuke's had enough excitement for a while, and they're all tired.
[There's not too much pomp and circumstance to their goodbyes, the most being Sakura's cheerful hug and Tetsukado's fist bump. After all, their plans for getting together later still held water as far as they were concerned--this was just a brief reprieve so they could catch up with their families.
There must have been some mention of 'Niisan' in his conversation, because at one point, all of Inazuma Japan gathered around to see the elusive older brother of Tsurugi Kyousuke. The one Tsurugi himself spoke volumes of, praised for being his hero through the hardest times.
The reason he kept putting one foot in front of the other when he often felt too scared to move. It's with that confession that Tenma shoves against Tsurugi's back, telling him to go back to his brother, and that goodbye didn't mean forever--just a little while until they could get their trip planned out.
And Tsurugi had done enough for Earth already that they could handle something as simple as preparations. Shindou's smile was all too reassuring, putting a hand on Tenma's shoulder in agreement. He could return to his brother who had stood on two feet for him. Who could play soccer with him one day again.
Tsurugi's battle was finally over.
With that, he waves goodbye to them, making his way through the people wanting to interview Inazuma Japan or parents looking to pick up one of their children, all the way back to the bench where Yuuichi wait for him. His smile said it all--he was ready to finally go home.]
