[He originally was going to, but this is such a better alternative. The high energy teen did like lounging around whenever he could, and if he could do it while snuggled against his boyfriend, then more power to him.
He'd learned to navigate the comms pretty well by now, bringing up the online menus and picking out something for himself, and then holding it up just a bit so Riku could take his pick.]
[Lounge around now so you can run around being a shitlord for longer.
Riku lets out a hum at this question, stretching his neck up so he can see, then reaches up to tap an option.]
Shoyu ramen.
[This sounds good to him. Usually, a restaurant that does takeout gives you a heaping amount of food when you sit in, and less when you get takeout, by virtue of the size of the takeout container. That being said, this place always seems to give them just as much for takeout as you'd get while eating at the actual restaurant. But Riku hasn't forgotten sushi, either, and he dips his chin a little, breathing into Kaneda's hair gently as he navigates to that.]
Get something you think looks good.
[With that, though, he's gonna close his eyes again, his hand lowering again and fingers brushing Kaneda's sleeve.]
[Kaneda plugs that order in without a word, setting it up to pay with cash once it actually gets here. With the order placed, email confirmation that literally no one reads unless you thought you got the address wrong and everything, Kaneda moves to the sushi.
Rolls, pieces...they were still a new revelation to Kaneda, who could never have had fish back in the day if his life depended on it. And honestly, his life was the reason he couldn't. Fish, the ones that hadn't died on site from the attack on Tokyo, were probably mutated and inedible from radiation. ]
I like the yellowtail...
[And at Riku's final comment, he just wiggles into his embrace more.]
[Riku hums, closes his eyes again. It's warm and cozy and Kaneda's doing this to him on purpose, but he can't even be mad. It used to be so seldom he could relax like this at all. Now it's a little different, but he appreciates it just as much.]
Mm. I'll have revenge on you yet.
[That being said, he just presses his forehead against the curve at the base of Kaneda's skull, his nose brushing the back of his neck gently and his eyes closed. For now, maximum coziness is required, before they have to get up again and pick up all that food. Even then he can be convinced to retreat back to bed, though the noodle broth might be an issue.]
You were up properly before this, though, weren't you?
[Look, he can't help it he exerts a lot of heat. Not that he would deny being guilty of keeping Riku lying next to him in that bed. The guy seemed so stiff and stoic when they first met. To have him with his arms linked around his torso, back to front as they scroll through a takeout menu on the comm...
It was a might lighter, natural look for Riku. It made him shine more.
You know, if you were into that mushy stuff.]
I'm shaking.
[Kaneda is not into that mushy stuff.]
Yep. And then you had to go and be an enabler and get me into your bed. What are we gonna do with you, huh?
[His tongue clicks against his teeth in a tsk, finalizing the sushi before setting the phone to the side. He just got almost one of everything, hope that's good with you, Riku.]
[Riku lets out a low rumble of a laugh, then shifts, rolling so he can prop himself up on his elbows, lying half on Kaneda and half on the bed. This way he can see his face, but it also means that he has to push one side of his hair behind his ear, so it's not in either of their faces. Not that he thinks he'll mind, though, either -- Kaneda seems to like it enough, despite how much shit he gives him for it.]
An enabler, huh? I guess I can't argue.
[He puts one hand forward, finding that phone and shoving it under his pillow both so it's not in the way and so it won't get lost.]
[Kaneda's smile is a dead giveaway of his mood, spread across his face as he relaxes into that hold. He didn't mind Riku's long mane--he always said it seemed to fit him best (no matter how much he jokes about it being so unruly). Hell, he can't even imagine the man without it.
He can only think of Kagami. And that's not a thought he's too keen on associating with his boyfriend, thanks.]
Me?
[He laughs, hair falling into his face with a quick turn of his head.]
[That's quite all right with him, if he doesn't keep them associated in his brain. There are a whole slew of reasons one wouldn't want to, after all. Riku wouldn't either, if he could help it. But honestly, that's enough about that, and instead he reaches up to pull Kaneda's cheek, smirking.]
No, never.
[From this angle he can stretch up and press his mouth to the line of his jaw, and he does, the curve never leaving his lips. His hand at his cheek relaxes again, fingers spreading so he can lay his hand flat, keeping him held turned toward him.]
Not even how you ran out of strawberries at midnight or something and I had to come to your rescue, the other day. Never ever does that happen.
