[It was something that Klavier had already accepted into his life. Apollo, no matter how many times it caught HIM off guard, had eased into Klavier's life like a hand into a well-fit glove. He never had any problems with Apollo's lifestyle conforming to his--when you were a musician, especially in a band, you learned to live with other people who had vastly different lifestyles than you. Klavier's patience for anything not related to a performance itself was something vastly underrated. His go-with-the-flow attitude really wasn't just an act.
So he starts taking his make up off, getting the wipes out and starting to peel off the many layers of it that he put on each morning. He'd be lost in his own world if not for the second or third 'um', to which he blinks and turns his head towards the man.
Was something wrong?
His relief when Apollo asks the question, smiling and tilting his head playfully.]
Lukewarm sound alright? Hot water dries your skin out too much, in my opinion.
[And he might've gathered that Apollo's showers were the cold kind--when he went in after him on occasion, the water wasn't already warm when he'd turned it on.]
(it stuns him, sometimes, how easily klavier accepts all of apollo without question. it’s as if he welcomes all the flaws and imperfections apollo brings with him, loving every little bit of apollo that comes into his life, even if they aren’t the most ideal of traits. nothing ever seemed to remotely upset him, and this is after apollo is well aware of how much he’s been overreacting over the entire situation. it wasn’t even as if klavier just didn’t care about issues thrown at them, but rather than ignore them altogether, he instead finds a way to work around them, in a fashion that benefits both parties.
that’s the part that still gets apollo’s heart racing. how unhesitatingly welcoming klavier can be, especially to apollo. the playful look he’s given gets a blush rising on his cheeks, his attention immediately jerking back to check on the water and raise the temperature just enough to klavier’s liking.
it’s embarrassing how a simple look from klavier turns him into a blushing school girl, even more so when klavier wasn’t flirting with him. he was just… his usual beautiful and kind self. he’ll blame it on the intimacy of what they’re about to do. yeah.
he clears his throat, occasionally swishing a hand under the water to gauge the temperature, judging if it would be too hot for klavier’s apparently delicate skin.) Does it? I’ve never really been much of a skin care person…
