It won't be too long before the call for the whole team to get up is sounded, and as a time-saving measure, those awake get tasked with alerting those who haven't left their rooms. What's worse - Kidou finding out about this, or someone random potentially walking in on this scene?
If Sakuma waits long enough, a distant door will slam. The first pair of muffled voices will just barely carry through the walls. And, worst of all, in reaction to that, Kidou's arm will tense briefly, pulling Sakuma just a little bit closer to him and burying his face against him in a final effort to cling to sleep.
That probably isn't comfortable, given how far the rims of those goggles protrude.]
